Life in the Rainforest

26th December 2001, 6.30am
I can’t believe it! I’m finally here. The Amazon Rainforest. But I’ve been separated from my crew. I don’t now where they’ve gone. I’m near where we crash landed. However the plane is caught in loads of Lianas There chocking and crushing. I don’t think it will be able to fly again. L

I’m exhausted. I’ve been walking for at least 2 hours. It’s just too hot. It’s got to be 30-35 degrees. But it’s absolutely chucking it down to. The rainfall…… I just couldn’t say. It’s getting late so I’m going to go to sleep now. Night Night.

28th December 2001, 1.15pm
I’m not in my usual place I don’t think it was safe. All of last night all I could hear was the crunch of leaves the cracking of twigs. So I started to climb up the mountain. And here I am. The view is incredible. The size of the emergent  ever I even tried to walk across the canopy. That didn’t go well.

29th December 2001, 1.15,
Humid!! That’s all I can say about today Humid. It’s boiling but pouring down its extraordinary. Today I met some locals. That’s were I’m staying tonight. They showed me how to suffocate fish by getting this chemical out of banyan root. I was soaked to bone not from the rain oh no from all the evaporation. Anyway the locals are helping me get home. They sent out smoke signals to contact help fingers crossed it works J

30th December 2001, 12.49pm
It Worked!!!!!!!!! I’m saved… the smoke signals worked and I’m even reunited with my crew. All half starved. Well were off home just in time for New Year. So goodbye Amazon hopefully I’ll be back soon hopefully I won’t have crashed landed…and hello England. I bet the rain is as bad well maybe not this ad though.
